Tibor Takacs is originally from Hungary. Growing up in the Family Business, he learned the art of woodwork from his Father. He completed a degree in Woodworking Trade school with top marks when he was just 21. In 1988, Tibor and his wife, Marianna, left Hungary. They stayed in Austria (Traiskirchen) for two years to obtain an American Visa. During this time, he worked for two woodworking companies, where he learned German woodworking techniques. As soon as he learned the English language in 1998, he founded Crown Cabinets.

David began working with his father when he was 15 years old. He enrolled at NJIT and earned a degree in Architecture, which he subsequently used to help his father in the company. David is responsible for the design of custom furniture using 3-D modeling and helps customers understand the exact piece of furniture they will be receiving.

Peter also began working with his father when he was 15 years old. He too enrolled at NJIT, earning a degree in Biology with high honors in just 3 years. Peter aides the company in various different ways, from on-site rough design, website design, furniture fabrication, and door refinishing. When he is not in school, he helps around the shop. He is currently enrolled in Medical School studying to be a Trauma Surgeon.
